Charge of Quarters
I'm on a 6 hour shift of just sitting here logging all the females who come and go from our barracks. Fun fun. I'll be done at midnight. Which is good. We've had a 4 day weekend and I've spent too much money on booze. I'd be doing it all over again tonight if I didn't have CQ.
It's been a good weekend though. Bowling, beer, hotel parties, shopping, tattoos, good weather. Can't complain.
We FINALLY start classes on Tuesday, which is a huge relief. I'm glad to not be stuck on detail anymore. I'm glad to finally be doing what I came here to do.
I miss LA a lot though. My friends, my house, the pups. It's hard somedays. Sundays specifically. They're more challenging than other days for some reason. I miss Dawnee like crazy. Sundays were the days we'd sleep in, go out for breakfast, hike with the pups, hit up Whole Foods or TJs and cook a great dinner together, then end the day with red wine and a bubble bath.
Oh well.
