LJ is going under a great big shift, isn't it? I'm on Facebook, but don't use it very much and don't trust it very much. (Robin Sweeney over there, if you're interested.) I also have a Twitter account, but loathe the Twitter and all it stands for, but felt compelled to sit on my own name ( Read more... )

I prefer LJ too but I don't use it as much. I like that I can do the longer updates and catch up on the more detailed entries from friends. FB is light fare and fun but I'll be sticking around on LJ.

Facebook has turned into a weird mix of family and school folks and people from high school. It has been fun, in a lot of ways, but its not LJ.

I've moved a lot of my thoughts back to LJ from fb. FB is just so public and is prone to Myspace drama with people I don't even know...well I know that's norm in LJ communities, but not when it's in my own journal.

Exactly -- Facebook feels like I'm hanging out in the middle of town square, and its a weird town where everyone I've ever met wanders by. LiveJournal still feels like its my own little living room.

I've sort of got a facebook account that I only opened so I could see a friend's page. And he understood what that sacrifice had meant to me! (LOL!) So I'm never there and if you find me, you'll see that my name there is something like Jwelfkj Basdkfjh.

Did you nip me? I'd like if you nipped me! But not in the FL sort of way, y'know?

If Nipped is something dirty, then do it. If it means I'm not on your list anymore, don't do it. What is DW? I'm almost afraid to ask.

DW is DreamWidth, a different journal site that is very cool, but hasn't take off like here.

And nipping isn't dirty -- more like snipping, but more flamboyant -- and no, no... you're still on my list. I've been loving the toonlets, by the way.
