JIB6 :: Photo Op update

Jul 13, 2014 09:48

So it looks like I got at least one of my two photo op requests.  After 14-ish hours of processing the email requests, Daniela announced this morning that all emails have gone out to those who did *not* get *any* of their requests.  Now I guess I wait to here details.  I will need to pay via a bank wire transfer. How cool that you at least got something. You really do need to record the moment that you were there, so even though you said you already have enough pics with the boys, to experience the process at this particular Con is something you should have, especially if this is a one-time deal. And to have the proof that you were there, and who knows, they may even recognize you, or react something special when they see a fellow American. Excited to hear what you got.

Yeah, this is exactly what my enabler T said to me. LOL.

Of course in order to have a decent time traveling all that distance I have a goal to get back to a better weight. Last time I did that, the boys did not recognize me. LOL. So even if I do have a photo with them, there's a halfway decent chance that (hopefully) given my changed appearance and the different venue and the volume of fans they see all the time, there would be no recognition. lol.

But yeah, as you and T both said, having an official photographic record is a good thing. :)

True, given the different venue, country and amount of people they see, they may not recognize you. BUT, the will recognize an American accent, or shall I say, lack of a foreign accent, so that alone would be cause for recognition, as I would think most of those attending would have a foreign accent.

I guess we always hope the people from the show recognize us. :)

But I'm just grateful to be GOING to ... ROME!

who really surprised me in that area was Gen. We saw her 3 years ago in Rome and shortly after that in Mannheim. And now this year we saw her in London and she still remembered that we met 3 years ago. which is a long time.
