BurCon 2012 - Some J2 Panel Photos

BurCon 2012 was a blast!  So much to share.  But as usual, exhausted.

Here are a few random photos from J2 Panel.   After I get home tomorrow I'll be posting more.  (seriously I took a crap load of photos.  These really are just a random sampling as I can't really examine these photos well until I get home.)

Finally am beginning to feel a bit normal - I did not sleep much the entire weekend.

And I went crazy with the photos. I will be lucky to get through the J2 panel today. Back to work tomorrow.

Had to go with a 800 ISO as I was determined to not use my flash. Thank goodness for raw (which I'm now addicted to - much thanks to you.)

So the photos will be grainy at full resolution. But I'm still happy with them. Until I end up with a seat closer this is as good as they will get.

ISO 800 isn't too bad. I think I had to use both 1600 and 3200 for JIB1, and I think I was up to ISO 1600 for JIB2...even with a monopod to keep the camera still. The lighting hasn't been too good at JIB thoug - it seems like you have had better light.
I am curious how it will be this year at JIB - I sit much further back (row 6, opposed to row 1 and 2 before), but my seat is at the isle - so it isn't too far away anyway. Last year I was probably as far away, since I was all the way at the end of row 2. But at the end of the row turned out to be perfect - because they hardly look straight ahead - but they always look to the side - to where the microphones are....
Oh, here I am babbling again. I can never stop thinking JIB and photo etc. :-)... which btw is why it is worth the money - because even though JIB itself last only a weekend - it gives me something to focus on for months, and I really need that.
