I thought it was cute! I liked the Demien & Barnes version of Sam & Dean. And I understand the characters names are also the names of the mods on TWOP. Huh. SPN slashing fandom.
I liked the MOTW. I liked Chuck (as always).
I loved seeing Dean's reaction to all the Impalas. And I loved Dean's reaction throughout the episode to all the SPN convention stuff in general.
I loved Demien's and Barnes' Batman voices!
I think Becky is maybe too OTT? And that isn't because I don't like the SPN writers poking back at fandom. Go for it, I say. I just feel like she puts me too much out of the story because the character is so obviously a parody. While the Demien & Barnes characters, while still kinda poking at fandom, weren't so much a parody that they didn't also seem like "real" characters.
And honestly? I thought the introduction of the Crowley character by Becky seemed just a bit lame. But that perhaps is because I think Becky's character is a little lame. Or maybe the better phrase is that it's a little too convenient. Although I do appreciate that a hardcore fan like Becky would know/remember the details of the stories better than the writer. That's pretty reflective of RL after all. But still.
However, overall I liked the episode. Those were the only two things that fell a little short for me.
