The thing that bothers me about many people who refer to themselves is activists is that, in the end, they are often trying to get people to do something they don't want to do. Like when people say "I want to save the environment" but what they mean is "I want you to pay higher gas taxes" or they say "I'm pro-life" when what they mean is "I don't want you to be able to have an abortion".
Having strong opinons is great but trying to force people to live how you want them to is just that, trying to MAKE people do what YOU want them to do. It doesn't pass the say it out loud test.
