goofing off in the office
Yes, I'm being a bad intern (wow, that sounds naughty... o_O)
But my boss is out til Wed (and seriously, if he's not here, why should I be? lol, but I am). And I was really productive this morning. So there.
Had a good but very busy weekend, which included, in no particular order:
-Getting lost trying to walk to Georgetown.
-Babysitting my little brother.
-Getting certified for small boat sailing in light wind (and consequently, entertaining the idea that I'm actually a closet yuppie...sailing, and I freaking play POLO...perhaps I should have gone to UVA lol)
-Chasing a man in a pink shirt onto the Metro.
-Getting sunburned in the middle of my back (which yes, is notable, as I've only managed to do that maybe once before. The majority of the time I just get really tan).
-Going rollerblading.
-Deciding I want to learn to windsurf.
-Meeting a chef from Alaska.
-Going up the tower in the Old Post Office.
I've been pretty busy in general, since I'm in DC for the majority of the day during the week, and then out doing stuff when I'm not. And *whine whine* go figure that the one time I was on AIM in like, 5 days, only two other people were. lol.
Oh Mel, if you happen to see this, I forgot my cell phone today, so I won't be able to call you until after dinner, which is when I'll be getting home.
