We're all going to hell
So I saw in the news that a bus escaping from Rita exploded. It was full of older people and all their oxygen tanks. Something happened to the bus, and it started a fire that reached the tanks...and that's all she wrote.
Since hearing about it I've felt both horrified and the urge to laugh hysterically. When I talk with people about it I've gotten reactions ranging from, "That's so awful!" to "Well, at least it was old people."
It's almost like the time when one of the girls living with us climbed on the roof and threatened to jump off, and all my sister and I did was make bets on whether or not she would actually do it.
It could be we're just awful human beings.
Or the corrupting influence of MTV and violent video games...
