Saturday was a pretty crappy day - but Saturday night totally made up for it all.
First off - Canvas....me oh my. You know how I said the show @ that one little coffee house place was the best show y'all had played so far, Ben? Taft completely beat that one by a 100 million fafillion points. I was really impressed with how much y'all matured as a band even within a one month period. Amazing. And I LOVE the new song - especially the "hey". hehehe. I think the whole crowd really enjoyed it. We could all tell how much fun you boys were having, so we couldn't help but have fun and dance too! :) A++
And Mutemath. oi oi oi. Lovin it, lovin it. These guys are incredible. So inventive. EEE. It was very fun to realize that I have been listening to them for some time now w.o even realizing it was them. Keytar and mystery instrument = <3 <3 <3.
My Joshua makes me laugh. You know how when you talk to people online you know what they would sound like if they were actually saying these things? All I hear when I talk to Josh is super thick East Texas accent. day And his farmboy phrases are phrases to make my day. We are an odd pair - Country boy and city girl. We teach eachother things, though. haha.
