I am very excited about October's imminence. My favorite month. The promise of cool days and a slower pace. Drawing in. Reflecting.
I'm also looking forward to applying at the end of October to the Master's Program at UNM. I deeply miss academia and can't wait to return to it.
And although my family is taking most of my energy to maintain right now, I feel strong and good that I can be there for them through their various trials.
Life is good. Now, I just need to get my oven fixed so I can make a pie.
