The Little Spaceship That Could
I've been following the adventures of Hayabusa, the little Japanese ion-engine asteroid probe. It's had all sorts of troubles, including breaking down in deep space and losing touch with home more than once. No one is quite sure whether it actually captured asteroid dust from its target, but maybe it worked. Anyway, Hayabusa has made it home! It's kind of miraculous. NASA shot some spectacular video if its reentry over Australia.
