so, yeah, this fourth of july weekend, aside from getting drunk and tossin my cookies (liquid cookies that is) my car broke down (leaky brake line, back left tire- any suggestions/ideas about cost to fix?) the world almost ended in my brothers back yard..
picture this..
a morter box fasioned out of quarter inch steel filled with about 200 individually wraped balls of colorful fun (& gunpowder)
two guys, one droping 2 1/2 inch morters, one lighting them...
twelve go off without a hitch..
a spark from an already lit morter lands in the steel box...
wicks catch fire...
result- over 100 2 1/2 inch morters go off in less than 5 seconds on the ground.
from atop a hill it looked like pink green & white hell was breaking loose in our direction..
from down there i can only imagine...
every one has their fingers and toes (and a little poo in their underpants)
the only result was a few fires in the field and half of a tree burned up in the process but with quick responce time and many fire extinguishers standing by, it was another breathtaking fourth....

oh, by the way, if anyone is in the grand rapids area and has money to throw around, why dont you call me and get me drunk or somethin... thad be nice...
