I hadn't really meant it to be a love triangle :D Mostly just emphasizing the fact that during that time the European powers were very possessive about territory and colonies. Though I suppose, it being Francis, the implication IS there...

Oh my, I love this chapter so much <3 It's so loving yet so ironic and filled with hidden agendas. Things like that are my favorite when it comes to history related stories. (I just LOVE subliminal messages and tension, a whole lot of tension, hehe)

Lars sis like a coin, he has a double personality and I'm loving it. (Coz if one is to look back in the history of Netherlands, it's like good and evil together. I kinda see it like that...)
