Too long in traffic...
So it snowed Tuesday for the first time since last year, ya so! I had to get Aria to her check up at 3:45pm and ended up finally getting there at 4:30pm and left at 5pm. It took 30 min. just going up Sherbrooke from Decarie! GRRRRRRRRR.
The kicker was sitting in traffic getting to on our way home. Stuck on the service road not moving for almost an hour, Greg and I played: "we're half way between your mom & mine, where do we go?" The decision was made for us: Right, cause left was not moving. Thank goodness I packed snacks, cause pretty soon I had cranky baby and toddler to deal with. By 6:30pm surprise mom, we're here! (cause we both left without cell phones) The remarkable thing was that we took all the small streets to my mom's who lives in the east end. Not only were they plowed but there was not a soul on them! We got home at 11pm after Greg went for his massage which was scheduled for 6pm, he got seen at 8pm and back for 10:30pm.
Why? It is not like we don't live here on a day to day, season to season basis???
Well, got nothing done, to boot, I have to get boots. I am having no luck.
I just hope that this week is not a wash like the weekend, the basement has not been touched.
Needless to say, I don't think that it will be done for the New Year unless somewhere there be a mirical!
