Had a great time today in the park with crankybear, Chris and Sammy (sooooo cute)! Just got home from picking up the passport papers from my bro and finished cleaning up. The wet clothes was the best part, not only are they soaked & dripping, but they are also full of sand! At least the kids had fun. It was great to see Esther and talk mommy business. Have to do that again! Esther, thought of another trick. If you haven't already, start setting a bedtime routine. Ours starts at about 7:30pm and by 9pm (when not a special ocassion)everyone is in bed. It goes like this, bath(can be ever other day), brush teeth(&/or gums), book, breastfeeding and then bed. When Kassie stopped breastfeeding(10 months) it was water (then milk after the age of one) then bed and when she turned 1 1/2 we changed it to milk before bath, brush teeth, pj time, story and bed. I have bedtime music playing at night as well. It makes it easier to do things cause they are distracted by it and not, say, the d&d game going on in the dinning room! It also helps them get the point of now is time for bed. Kassie has gotten so good, she reminds us if we skip something or go in the wrong order. I hope the pointers help. I also remembered something else, I passed my time during the week at home baking and testing new receipies. I have a passion for cooking. I also tried to do things like sewing and knitting, though I can't do much for long seeing as my hands tend to sieze up, thanks to my arthritus (weather provoced).
Well, another day down and another day closer to going back to the office...though it's days like today that make me not want to go back. Some days I wish I could be the stay at home mom and then there are days when I want to be the successful business woman I am. Getting rather late have an early start tomorrow to another day!
