Today at Lily's parent-teacher conference I learned that she:
1. Is great with reading, writing and verbal comprehension. Her english skills are off the charts. She comprehends stories and can explain them back, and does them with flair.
2. Is still above average but struggling with math, with algebra-based questions giving her the hardest time. Her scores went down this time, but likely because of...
3. She is overly social and frequently is unable to complete her work because she's too busy talking and entertaining the kids around her. Once she is moved away from the kids, she does great work and is very meticulous, but she has a very hard time keeping quiet in class.
So, in summary, I learned today that I did not give birth to a daughter, I was the surrogate carrier of my own clone.
Oh, and she called a boy in her class a "Womanizer" because he wouldn't be "just my boyfriend". Thank you Britney Spears.
By the way, in case you have forgotten...she's only 5 and a half.
