I am once again a functioning member of society.
Beginning Monday 5/14, I will be starting a new job at Oxford University Press. I will be working directly with 2 VPs, and pretty much be the liaison between them and their massive hordes of underlings. Should be a fun time! I will get to see all the devious inner workings of the publishing industry, as well as do some research and archiving work.
It's a full-time job, so I get a full benefits package, which includes all sorts of stuff like life insurance and retirement plans (!), which is also pretty neat.
I also interviewed for Time Warner Cable as a production assistant for the local station, but if I get offered that job I can probably downgrade it to weekend freelancer.
