groovychkWow. 2018. Turning half a century old tomorrow. This isn't the future I imagined at all. Thank God for Elon Musk. At least there's a little chance we'll get off this rock. Gen X for the save!
Otherwise - what a dumpster fire of a year 2017 was. 2018 doesn't look like it's going to change the trend. I long for those days in the early 1990s when everything seemed like it was still possible and peace seemed achievable. What a sad place we've come to. Current Mood:

2020 - COVID-19 is wrecking the world economy and killing a lot of people that wouldn't have otherwise died. Trump cult people and Trump himself are exacerbating the problem. Biden is old and weak and it will be a miracle if he beats Trump in November. If we even have elections. The second wave will hit hard and it might just be an excuse for delaying the elections. Nothing will be really safe again until a vaccine gets out there. That'll be early next year at best I imagine.
