meh.
Haven't played with this journal in a while. It's been a very Monday Gras summer so far. I've been to Arkansas on a canoe/tubing trip and LSU officially owns my should for 8 weeks starting sometime next week. Then it's a summer of craziness (i.e. astrophysics research) and then off to Budapest. Good thing, too. I'm getting fed up with Republicans and their ignorance. But I'm working on my open-mindedness, so it's all good.
I was looking through all those conservative facebook groups. It's insane. These kids really have no clue. I mean, they're rich, will probably stay rich, and yet have this need to tell people how to live their lives so they (said rich assholes) can have more money. Then they want to ruin the environment and expect science to pick up the pieces. But, there is hope. There seem to be some cats abroad who are still in it for the greater good (and, heaven forbid, selflessness).
Oh, and you're the center of the universe, congrats.
And Jesus was a liberal.
And almost a Buddhist, by today's standards.
Human partisanship makes me want to vomit sometimes.
I really need to be more understanding.
