Random spinning
I picked up a LOT of stuff yesterday. I still haven't gone through all of it. I bought both CDs and vinyl, two different shops (Roots and Kerouac respectively). More info later.
Right now I've got a house party to prepare for. I could use the night off really; I've been out or up late all week and could use some more time to tighten up the crate on the iDJ2 for a reggae set. In the future I'll prepare a drive for that stuff and just plug that in too and manipulate both the iPod and a separate drive.
There's this funky lot I pass on Hudson on the way to Kerouac. It's basically a courtyard facing out to the street. I think the buildings around it are abandoned, and the walls are painted in primary colors. If that's not begging for a block party. I don't know what is. In the meantime, I'll have to settle for the crib or other places. More to come.
