Belated weekend entry

The weekend was pretty cool.. On Friday we celebrated Morgan's birthday (it's not technically until the 24th, but for obvious reasons that's not the best day for celebrating it). We were going to go to Laser Outkast, but we arrived too late to make it (d'oh!) so we went to the Liquid Lounge for about a half hour, had 2 rounds of drinks while Brandon stayed in the car (I guess he got his licence revoked or lost it or somethin, so he couldnt come in). We didn't want to be too rude to him so we didn't stay super long, but we wanted to make the trip from the Eastside into Seattle worthwhile somehow. Morgan ended up getting two Monorails (some gross mixed drink... blegh! too sour!) I dunno what Darla got, and I had the usual Mack n Jacks (mmmmmBeer).

After that we drove back to Darla's and go drunk off some Capt Morgan's private stock + barqs rootbeer and they too their herbal party suppliments. All in all it was good times, nothing too special.. The inside of the Liquid Lounge was alot different than I'd expected.

On Saturday I went to The Catwalk with Robin for my sisters birthday party. That was badass!! I'm not sure what the name of the event was, but it was a Gothic/Fetish type fashion show/burlesque show... mmmmm god girls in corsets w/ tassles... *droolz* It was good times, I think my friends I told about the event are crazy for not jumping on the invitation to come along. I was going to bring Chris along into Seattle so he could go to Aristocrats, but fate stepped in and prevented that from happening. As we were driving to his place from the grocery store, I shook up a bottle of sobe and somehow managed to break a hole in the bottom of the bottle and the entire thing spilled all over my car and my clothes, so we had to about face and go back to my apartment so I could hop in the shower to rinse off and switch clothes. By the time I was done I didnt have enough time to pick Chris up and still see my sister perform in the fashion show so we had to nix him out.

Sunday was lazy around the house day.. I finally decided to pick up my copy of Metal Gear Solid 3 up and start playing it again. I bought it months ago and watched the first cutscene and didn't bother going any further than that. It's an awesome game, I love the survival aspect (you're in a jungle, trying to use stealth to avoid russian soldiers, but there're snakes and crocs, etc that you also have to avoid).

Monday and Tuesday I've spent hanging out w/ Jeff and Evan who are back in town for Xmas break, they came over after work and we've just hung out and played F.E.A.R. nothing special, but good times...
