Darling i miss you too. I don't want to be "right", nd your definitely not "wrong". You are good at school. I don't know how you can have a good base to go by considering that you only went to college for a short wile and spent most of the time in the commons (i have no room to shake fingers about that though). You are an intelligent and eager man. I think if you give it time you will flourish. How do you know it wont work when you don't even try? Hell, even if you do decide after you get your degree that you would rather work with your hands, you still have a degree to fall beck on. Believe me not everyone goes to college to sit in a cubicle all day. That's sure as fuck not why i want to go back to college. Its not a mandatory thing. For example my father works with hs hands all day and thanks to his education not only works on the buildings, owns and manages them as well. Not to mention his own business. I know you, and i know if you don't give this a try you will regret it. It is easier for you to go while living with your parents. You can't say you miss the every month struggle for rent and the daily struggle for food, gas, and cigarettes? Remember when you moved to Jersey years ago? I'm sure you had many of the same feelings your feeling now, but look how everything turned out. You just need to give it time. Get out and meet some people, start school, and start work. Let Maddie take you out. You don't want to rely on the little money you'll have left after the ticket to start a life Pat. Please Smoocher, give it a chance. If all you think is how it's not going to get any better, it won't. We all miss you. The apartment, your friends, your job, and the kitters. Most of all I miss you. I do know though in my heart as hard as this is it is for the best. We can get through it. January (maybe hopefully October) will be here soon. I know you can do this honey. I have faith in you. If in the end it doesn't work out and you still want to come beck you can. You can come beck and be able to say that you tried and gave it your best.

True, i do want to get that rock on your finger. and yes i do love it. i think im going to stick to my original plan, and try from now until january, if at which point i still am unhappy. im coming home.
