Hrmmm...
I'm not sure if this might reach anyone in LJ Land for I have been rather distant as far as actually writing anything on here in quite some time! Alas, if I write something on here, I can officially say that I have been keeping an LJ for somewhere close to eight years! Does this date me?
So... since my last entry on here I have been around the world, literally. I did a whirlwind tour of Europe, Aruba, Vietnam and most recently, Thailand. If anyone were to tell me three or maybe four years ago that my life would be anywhere close to where it is today.. well... it would have been kind of tough to believe. :-)
My recovery today... it's going better than I could have ever imagined. Life is better than I ever could have imagined and truly the best that I have experienced in at least 15 years. I know, it all sounds so cliche and Pollyanna'ish but it's true!
As I write this, I'm within a day or so of flying down to the keys to camp for a few days and hang out at a recovery conference... Barack Obama is getting ready to make history (I hope and pray)... just last week, I received a promotion which is all kinds of beautiful in itself.
Did I mention I am in love? It is true and I have even been in the relationship over a year now. :-D
I'll leave out the details on about dying from carbon monoxide poisoning also since the last time I wrote on here because it's a downer and in the end and after a few months of shear hell, I'm much stronger than ever before. Plus, I'm alive! :-D
If anyone still has me on their lists, hit me back! I'd love to catch up! I have often came to LJ to creep on your entries and have been kind of cheating by not writing my own.
