Susan Powter once said (a million times), "STOP THE INSANITY!". A strange homeless man once walked up to me and said, "THE WORLD IS DOOMED! CAN I HAVE A QUARTER?". Just the other day, a voice in my head said "Mike, take responsibility for your own actions and stop justifying and manipulating your own thoughts, feelings, and actions!".
What does all of this have in common with each other? Frankly, I don't think it has anything in common other than a general theme of my place in the world today.
I'm having one of those "questioning-over-analytical- frustrating-yet happy days". I'm sure you have had them right? Just one of those days when nothing seems to fit into place yet you're feeling productive while going no where with a general overwhelming sense of happiness about something that may or may not happen yet in great hopes that it will? :-)
Yes, I think we have all had these days but I think in the long run I will realize that what it all boils down too is too take responsibility for my own actions....stop trying too manipulate my feelings (and let them be)...along with that whole justification of anything and everything that I think or do.
I will now go into a Zen like state where I will sit cross-legged and float around a room until I feel somewhat grounded or maybe...maybeeeeee....MAYBE I just need to eat something!
That is all..
