i'm back.
Went to Wisconsin for the weekend.
And had another hellish day of travel yesterday - my luck with getting home just sucks ASS!
It usually takes 90 minutes to get from Madison to Milwaukee, yesterday it took about 3 hours 15 minutes due to flood traffic. So Eric and i were SWEATING making the flight. Like the couple running to the terminal frantically.
Only to find out our plane was indefinitely delayed due to bad weather.
So, we ended up camping out about 4.5 hours until we could fly out.
And Milwaukee airport is pretty small - it basically closes down at 7pm.
Like everything closes.
Got home to Atlanta and in bed around 3am.
Woke up at 6am for work.
Surprisingly, I must be running on fumes, but I'm not too bad right now!
Still I can't wait to get home to bed.
UH huh.
But i'm also a little too tired to really recap the weekend.
Which was full of highs and not so highs.
Saturday was an exercise in patience as Eric and I spent most of the day with his family and attending some sort of uber-religious wedding. I don't do good with religion. Not good at all.
But Saturday night was pretty awesome with a bonfire and fireworks - like the best fireworks EVER.
Our friend out did himself setting it all up.
In fact, here are some pictures:
OK, but THIS is a photo of the moon rising behind the bonfire! See the little orb in the center? OMG, I love this picture!
