I have the damn cold that everybody has had, has or has soon to be gotten. I'm glad hubby wasn't home this weekend, cos I felt like crap and could hardly talk anyway. I just want to go home and get in my jammies.
The band (groupaction) is playing at this gig opening for an AC/DC tribute band next week, and we actually have to sell tickets. 50 tickets per opening band (I think there are four) which means that if every band sells all their tickets, there will be a full house and the headlining band doesn't have to bring in any people! I think that for everyone who buys a ticket, just leave after the band they bought the ticket from is over, or at least all the opening bands, and then just leave. Then the club and the Massive headlining band will see just who's making their money for them. I fucking hate this shit, I really do, and I bet we won't even get a free drink for this. If we have to "eat" our tickets and PAY up to $350 to play an opening set and they don't even give me a cocktail, I will be severely perturbed.
Anyhoo, there are better shows upcoming, if I can just get through this one. Maybe my laryngitis will stick around and I won't have to go. Haha!
