Went to the Mountain Goats concert tonight in an attempt to distract myself from other things. It was amazing. They were one of the most powerful bands I have ever seen. Considering I had never even listened to them before, I was blown away.
Working on a couple of songs. It's funny how not spending time with friends gives me time to read and play guitar. That's right. Optimism from Will. Next I will reveal my conversion to Christianity and Conservativism. Fuck you, LJ, that is in fact a word.
I will emerge from my exile with an album full of strident power ballads!

I love me some H. P. Lovecraft. His prose style, while dry, is nonetheless inspirationally deep; if I could some how Frankenstein his style with Stephen King's characters, I would have the greatest book ever. Mmmm...zombie Lovecraft.
