Dear Marshall mini-amp,
You and I seem to be having a difference of opinion. I was possessed of the belief that your two-channel, solid state nature would mean that one channel would be a clean channel, the other overdrive. Instead, what I get is a really sweet overdrive tone on the clean, and the OD channel is like an instant suck button. Seriously, it makes everything I play sound like the worst hairmetal ever.
Also, screw you Guitar World, I have absolutely no interest in teaching myself to play My Chemical Romance or Fallout Boy songs. Perhaps you should attempt to find tabs for things that don't, you know, suck.
Speaking of which, I learned a totally sweet boogie riff yesterday from my "Classic Blues Riffs" book. It was awesome.
As usual, Grinnell is a much more suitable environment for my stability of mind than was Houston. Now if I could just figure out how to get to sleep at night.
Also, somehow I've come to like They Might Be Giants? And I now own just about every Talking Heads album. Not that that's sad or anything.
