So...I went camping. It was actually pretty dissapointing, no one almost died. Nothing went wrong other than we brought people with us who wore tennis shoes, in 5 feet of snow mind you, and one guy who brought his duffel bad. And carried it, 5 miles, to give him credit never once did he complain but it must have been a pain. I have happily named him Duffy, since I had never met him before and kept forgetting his real name.
We only made it 5 miles in, instead of the 9 we intended. We only had 3 two person tents, and 9 people, you do the math. :) So, last night someone had the brilliant idea of sleeping under the stars. And we did, we crammed nine guys on one tarp, no tent and tried to sleep in 15-20 degrees. Now, my sleeping bag is rated to 0 degrees farhenheit, so I wasn't that cold. But a bunch of guys had typical indoor sleeping bags, pretty sure they suffered all night. Not that I slept that much, but at least I was mostly warm, a sleeping pad would have helped a lot, but I didn't expect to need it, thought I'd be in a tent. Silly me :) Also, the moon was so bright that we couldn't really see the stars, which was pretty cool except it was like sleeping with the light no.
Anyway, I survived, now to survive another round with the Comm building and its horrors. Tomorrow I shall take out my agression on the hockey floor and avenge our only loss. I think, *cough, KNOW, we can win. Come watch the magic :) It will be like the USA beating Russia in the semi's, only without Bob Costas asking "Do you belive in Miracles". Or insert your favorite upset here. Well, off to do homework and community council. Laters all
