I had a wonderful weekend..... Minus the nightmare that made we wake up SCREAMING!! I was afraid to go back to sleep after cause during the sleep I thought I was awake. what if you were trapped in a nightmare for so long you had permanent psychological damage?! let that be a lesson not to steal feta bowls from greek people
after going to la cafe gaffe which Ellisse suggested (great suggestion) I hit up the cine cycle. I knew there was a screening but couldn't figure out where the place was, then some lady told me it was in the dark alley to the left...whew, so I knew where it was but the entrance looked really creepy, like some entrance of a make shift hospital in thai land or something . It was exciting to go to something that seemed underground and bike related. It was cool on the inside, brick everywhere, open space with bikes and bike art on the wall not to mention a mini bar, and projector room where they can show modern video as well as old projector stuff like 16" and super 8 video.
Some were cool independant films and some were shitty experimental videos that were meant to be deep..then there was this hilarious video from the 60s about alcoholism where the emotions (represented by people) were addicted to alcahol. the alcoholic woman looked like steve buschemi from billy madison
this guy from ocad who is really interested in international affairs, activism and shit keeps emailing me to get involved and sends me all these speeches about war because I was nice to him about his political speech during ocad's open mic night and now I don't have the heart to tell him I don't give a shit so I have to delete all these emails. ugh
