Row, row, row your boat...

Saturday was the first day I didn't work in the past 12 days.
I worked 115 hours in the last two weeks.
-to bad I'm salary.

Seems like Saturday was our "one day of summer" for the year. At least that's the way it's looking.
I did manage to take advantage of it.

I looked at a couple houses Saturday morning.
-I'm now accepting donations for a down-payment.

Lil' Teddy, The Canadian and I went canoing around the arboretum.

I also bought a few planters and did a little "apartment gardening" Saturday.
18 strawberry plants, 2 cayenne pepper plants, a bucket full or basil, a bunch of cilantro, and a sweet pepper.
I also transplanted the four avocado trees I started a couple years ago. They are almost 3 feet tall now!

All was done in time to go have drinks with friends in Ballard Saturday evening.

Sunday was a long motorcycle ride into the woods, laundry, and a bit of vegging in front of the Xbox. I don't play video games that often, but once in a while it's kinda fun and relaxing.

I'm going to be doing more package design, web updates, and some clay modeling for work this week. Doing some real industrial design like the car designers do!
I'm excited about that.

I'm also working on a logo for my sister. She's starting a business in Boise. She'll be making gluten-free cookies and brownies. I guess there will be dairy-free, egg-free, and sugar-free varieties.
-She's sending me cookies!
