But I'm not vain...actually I'm quite the opposite but since the internet knows all, I'd better put on my green bathrobe and try to take over the world.
So yeah an update on the job stuff. Geico gave me a hard offer which I accepted. This past Wenesday and Thursday I had interviews with Bob's Store and Claires respectively. The interview with Bob's went well but I think I'm over qualified to be their mens department manager. Seriously, they don't have adjacencys and they're "getting to that point" where planograms will be used. Thursday went PHENOMENALLY well. Seriously. I had an interview to be the assistant store manager at Claires. For those of you who are unaware, Claries is a girls accessories store usually located in a mall. My interview with the DM went so well that I wasn't even out of the mall yet when I was called by the woman who's going to be my store manager, looking to set up an interview. So I go on the second interview and again it went well. According to both of them I'll have my own store in 6-12 months. My would be manager is already trying to get a replacement for me when I do get my own store. Nothings concrete yet since I'm awaiting the results from the personality test but they called the house last night when I was out with Amy (more on that in a locked entry later) so I'm going to call them back today to find out whats up. Squee! If this comes through, GOODBYE GEICO. Seriously, I don't want that job. I don't think I could sit for 8 hours a day. I can't.
ANyway, I'm off to shower and clean what's left of Amy's "protein spill" off of my windshield...maybe I should do that before I shower.
