Okay, so normally I'm pretty good about not getting sick; I live around two kids who go to public school I was my hands regularly and try not to get to close when THEY get sick

Thanks for the hugs, hugs you back. I've had it for a little less than a decade myself and my Ma has had patients with it, one was a boy that was a decade younger than me and he had a better handle on it than I did--'course he could eat potatos and not feel a thing, I eat potatos and want to curl up in a ball depending on how they're cooked. But every person, so I've learned is very different and I've been told my case is between mild and severe...not quite sure which end I'm closer to sadly. It has gotten better though, I just have to manage my stress levels and not get sick...
Getting frustrated looking for a job, signin up for college classes for the fall semester, and trying not to drive myself insane over thinking things has not help. Sad thing is, the OCD and over thinking things is genetic and that's why my mother is on anti-anxiety meds and she's thinking of putting me on them too, which I suppose is a good thing...
Anyways, have any tips on managin it? I'm on a relative even keel until I get sick and then it acts up bad, but even so I like to hear other people's tips and tricks to see if they work
I can't think of any tips. I had the surgery because of blockage, but was told it would flare up again at any time. I haven't had any problems any over a decade. I came to the realization that I was going to stress no matter what I did so I stopped worrying about stressing, and just stressed when I needed to. And somehow, I quit stressing as much.
I ocd a lot as well. At least, I'm sure that we don't leave our work unlocked.
