Summer in Clio

Jun 25, 2005 11:51

Well, I haven't updated in a while, but that is really because Clio is pretty boring. I don't have a job, and that makes it 10 times worse. I have to wait for my friends to have the day off of work before I can do something. I have seen several movies this summer, most of which were very good. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Star Wars, The Longest Yard, Batman Begins, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I have been working at my grandparents house for spending money. On a very positive note, I will be out of Clio in less than 15 days. First, going to Traverse City to hang out with Jenn for the 4th of July and also the Cherry Festival. Then, I am off to the British Isles for two weeks. I am so excited. It will be great to be away from things and spending time with my mom.

And, since teaching jobs don't look too promising for me this fall I will have to consider some other options. One option is subbing at different school districts during the day and then having a night job. I am thinking maybe Star Bucks, that might be fun. I have also started looking at teaching out of the country. Thanks to Jennie I have been looking into France for a year. Wouldn't that be a lot of fun! And then there is my last choice, moving out of state; something I don't want to do unless absolutely necessary. Like I have said to my mom on several occasions, I feel like I am in limbo and the feeling sucks. It is very frustrating not knowing what I am going to do next.
