What a day
So, I just got power back 5 minutes ago. That's right, I have had no electricity since 11:30 this morning, so about 11 hours. It has just been wonderful. I woke up and took a shower, and as soon as I was done the power went out. The Lions were playing today, so Katie, Jenn, Monika, Karen and I went out to Negaunee to watch the football game and also go to the bathroom and eat something. When we came back there was still no electricity, so we lit some candles and played Apples to Apples. By the end of that it was a little before 8, so we then drove out to one of Katie's friends house to watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition. It was so nice to sit somewhere with heat. Thanks Ed! At 9 there was still no electricity. We went to McDonald's to get something to eat and when we got back we had electricity.
It is so amazing to see how much I rely on electricity. Now it is time to sleep so I can get up for class tomorrow morning, even though I couldn't do any homework today. This week should be interesting let me tell you.
