psychos vs. socios

so i think that maybe the term psycho isn't quite accurate enough... i think perhaps "sociopath" is better. she has sociopathic tendencies. she views others as objects, which she can either use to her advantage, or if they become an obstacle, destroy them. she has no remorse, and lacks the ability to have compassion (putting yourself in another person's shoes). which is great. it worries me i dind't figure this out quicker. i thought i was a decent judge of character. and apparently everyone else around me figured it out right away. i guess i just couldn't see the forest for the trees.... i was too close to the situation to make a good judgment call. i hope. i hope i haven't just turned into an idiot, which picks bad people to be friends. a few months ago, susan and chris both independently told me they think she has borderline personality disorder. i told them, "oh stop it, be nice" but then it was kinda fishy that they both said that without the other one knowing about it... so i looked borderline personality disorder up...yep... she pretty much fits the definition. it's nuts. i was living with her. hell i was nuts at one point, when i was depressed. but i got help, and i wasn't treating others like shit. there's a point where you have to draw a line. sometimes people just have honest mental issues, and they need to work on them, and you feel bad and want them to get help...then there's a point somewhere that you're like "ok, i don't care how many issues you've got thanks to your parents, you're still an asshole and i don't like you"

and also, my very first graduate class starts today. by the end of december, i will be 2 credit hours closer to being Master Sarah
