livin' on the edge
I was just backstage for 16 hours at Mohegan Sun for Aerosmith's concert. Despite the fact that there were times that dragged on cause I had no mostly no purpose and everyone was busy, it was quite the interesting and good day. I watched the entire set get built, many massive moving lights get set up, sound check, an ESPN special on NASCAR with Stephen Tyler get tapped, the crowds rushed in, and to top it off.....Aerosmith! I got some shitty pictures that I took with my cell phone, I didn't really think to bring my camera when I left at 6:00 in the morning. But I have my neato backstage pass, so thats cool. The show ended around 11:00, and then they started to break down the set and such, but I left before that, cause its really just the quick/reverse version of installing it. I'm looking forward to the chance to actually work backstage there for real, and I believe that chance will be sooooon! :-) Wootums!
