A brand new, clean apartment. With shampooed carpets and new appliances, and a clean bath tub where you could actually take a bath. Which is actually what I plan on doing when I get home from work today. I feel how I imagine Mary Tyler Moore felt in her swanky home quarters.
Matt and I took a week apart, which was needed and unwanted, but it gave us both some time to put this all into perspective. His sister's birthday party was this weekend and we had an awesome time. I played darts with his parents and shmoozed with the friends and it was like a sign that everything was and is going to be okay.
