-The pet psychic hasn't seen The Commander yet. I will let everyone know how it goes.
-I have rediscovered MySpace. Which I now remember being baffled by and hating when I signed-up, but CU seems to be a MySpace kinda place, so I guess I'll try again.
-You know how we're always saying that Missoulians are so attractive? Well, after two months here, I would say that on average, CU is on the less attractive end of things. Sure, there have been a few nice looking folks that have caught my eye, but in general, people are not attractive here. Does anyone else notice this outside of Missoula? Is it just because I like Missoula better, or, are people actually uglier here?
-It's rapidly becoming clear that my workplace is a tangled web of distrust where nobody likes anybody else. I guess it's a good off-year, until-I-go-to-grad-school job, but I don't think I'm going to last long.
-Illinois drivers are the worst ever.
-There are no punky kids here. It's very, very disconcerting. As is all the orange. Seems like every third person is wearing a bright orange tshirt or hoodie or pants. And, I'm continually being told by people that there are a lot of hippies here. HA! There are no hippies here. Except Pat's grandparents who are the best kind of ninty year-old, progressive activist type hippies.
