Well, another weekend over. Time has been moving by so fast for the last week or so. Only one more week of summer school. Woohoo! Then about a week off and then off to DC. I will be there the 5-14. So, it appears I will be missing everyone who is coming back. Sad. Although, I'm quite excited to spend eight days with Nou and Bryce. I have one of those platonic crushes (like, OMG, I so want you to be my best friend, but I don't want to be a total geek about it) on Nou. She's just so cool.
Life is pretty good right now. The boy and I continue to get along and I'm actually believing that it will work out instead of waiting for it not to. Although, we did have a tiff last night, but it was fine. Apparently I should not do other things while watching a movie...or we should both just get more sleep so that we aren't grumpy, but whatever. It was quite ridiculous and easily cured by a late night walk.
I'm starting to research vehicles. I need to sell Jack and get an actual adult car before we move next year. This will be the first joint purchase. I would just buy it, but I'm not sure I'm eligible for a big enough loan without the boy signing on. Crazy. I really want a 2000 Honda Civic hatchback with air conditioning. They're not very expensive and they get excellent gas mileage. Hopefully we can sell Jack to Liza in the spring so that she will have a car too. Embrace adulthood, Michael, embrace...
