NaNoWriMo

That's right, I decided to be crazy enough to sign up for this, and my friend somehow decided to side-along apparate. The novel I plotted in October decided that it had had enough after one day and 1749 words, and it didn't want to be written.

WAY. TO. GO.

So now I had to come up with a new brilliant idea. I looked into my notebook from writing camp, and was trying to see what I could get. I didn't want to continue on with the story I was working on in the summer, because I'm not quite ready to type that up yet. Smaller fonts would undermine my pride at the length of my writing. I kept flipping through, and found the scene where her mom dies.

"hmmm," thought I, "why not that?"

So now I'm writing about the-only-character-about-whom-I've-successfully-finished-a-short-story's-mom. Weird. But it will help me flesh out her human life, which is something I've kind of ignored for a while. And it looks to be an interesting story (and with less potential to be cliche than my other one).

I'm still keeping my first story going, because I know the second that I get rid of it, my new story's gonna be like "Yeah, I'm done for now, try again later," and the old story will be like, "Haha! I have a brilliant new plot twist but it's too late for NaNo! Haha!" and I'll be like, "damn you all! You stupid things! What'd I do to you?" but they won't hear, because they'll already be off frolicking in the Land of Stories that Outwitted the Author and can now Remain as Perfect Imaginings Without the Hindrance of the English Language.

Well, Goodnight! and We're All SCREWED!!
