Is this thing on?? *tap tap*
Wow it's been forever. Forever and a day, really. And man is it ever annoying to type on an iPad. But I'm too lazy to pull out my laptop, so there you have it. Hubbies iPad has become my default Internet device of choice.
So,what's new and noteworthy that I wanted to share? I had the most amazing dream a couple nights ago. I dreamt that I could levitate. I kept it a secret and got so that I could control it really well, and finally was brave enough that I decided to show my mom what I could do. I was terrified that she'd freak out and think I was some paranormal freak, but she was incredibly happy and revealed to me that she too could levitate. Apparently it ran in the family, at least among the womenfolk, and she was so proud that I could do it too, and happy to have someone to share her secret with.
As the dream progressed I started to over think the whole levitating thing and began to lose control. Eventually the dream dissolved and I woke up slightly discomfited but was able to fall asleep again. I forgot all about it until halfway thru the day.
I made sure to tell my mom about the dream when I talked to her last night. She thought it was cool and told me that she often had dreams of being able to levitate. She characterized it as "kinda crazy" but seemed to enjoy it.
When I googled meanings for levitation in dreams it seemed on the whole like it wasn't viewed as an entirely positive thing - most of the interpretations seemed to lean toward feeling ungrounded or out of control, yet for me personally this dream was enormously powerful.
