I felt like I was the only one that would ever care about my childhood and the stupid shit I used to do back then.
This is the reason why I really like getting to know new people better. I know that it is impossible for me to experience everything that I would like to, so the closest I can get to that is by talking to people that HAVE experienced those things or places or times. There are even experiences out there that I'm not even aware of, that I know I would like to have. And the only way that I will know that they're worth experiencing is by talking to people that have experienced them.
So I really feel strongly that your desire to share your memories is very deserved and worthwhile. Honestly, I find it ridiculous that someone who is/was supposedly interested in you didn't have the "patience" to listen to you for long.
Hell, I've had plenty of experiences that I'd like to be able to share with someone. You're definitely not the only one that feels this way.
