He's home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally! He got home on Thursday night at about 5:20. I had been on base for most of the day with Kassey and Dan. We finally went to the flight line at like 4:30 or 4:45 and Kassey and I waited. We got to go out onto the flight line at about 5:00 or so and then we continued to wait. It was really neat watching them land. That is when it hit me that he was actually coming home. It made me feel so much better and took about 100 lbs off of me. They came off the plane one by one and I stood there looking for him and never saw him. I thought that I had missed him or that he hadnt gotten on the plane. After their formation and what not they were able to come and see their families. It was the neatest thing ever and the coolest feeling to be a part of something like that. Kassey and I walked through the crowd of people looking for Josh. I saw little Radar and said hello, he shook my hand and said he hadn't seen Josh. After looking for like 5 or 10 minutes I finally saw him. When he hugged me it seemed as though everything around me had just stopped. That moment was what I had waited for for 7 long months. I met his parents and then we had to wait for him to get his bags and turn in his rifle. He went and hung out with his parents and I just went home. His parents leave tomorrow night at like 10 or 11 so he needs to spend time with them. I am completely okay with that and understand, I just feel so much better now that he is here and safe. I did get to see him today for a couple hours and then again tonight for like an hour and a half. He said his parents are driving him crazy. We watched 24 and a movie. He is sick so I left at like 11:15 or so and came home. He makes me smile and he gives me butterflies in my stomach. He makes me soooo incredibly happy, its wonderful! I am so glad that I feel good again, its been a long long time since I've truly been happy and I think this time around it just might be worth it. He doesnt leave for Iraq again until January so that is a plus, we have almost a whole year without complications and goodbyes. It has rained all day really really hard. I love the rain but I hate driving in it and walking in it and I did a good amount of that today so that sucks. Tomorrow morning I am going to Kellen's basketball game and then who knows what. I need to clean my room, closet and drawers out but we'll see. Sunday I am going to go dog beach with my aunt and her two dogs, that should be fun. Have a fun and safe weekend ya'll!
