Yes, I'm a copycat, but that's okay.
At work we have to submit our monthly goals and accomplishments to our management to help us keep track of how we are doing. The other day, Dan decided to write a huge list of G&A's out that pertain to life rather than work. Although some do apply to work, I suppose.
So I am doing the same thing. I feel like my boyfriend has so many valid aspirations and things he wants to achieve in his life. I admire that. But I feel like I am just doing nothing except wasting space.
Here goes:
Apartment Goals:
-Start packing up 291 Dale Street ahead of time
-Find out when the 27 Bellamy move can be
-Call for a UHAUL ahead of time
-Place ads on the classifieds at work for 2 pink chairs, ottoman, end tables, and/or couch?
**Note: if any of you LJ readers are in need of any of the above things, let me know!
-Start browsing for new things
-Start putting things aside for yard sale
Career Goals:
-Stop being so negative all the time
-Figure out ways to deal with stress better
-Start being proud of what I do
-Start researching different graduate programs / options
Gym Goals:
-Call Anthony about stopping my Monday am class
-Call the Brighton YMCA for any openings
-AFAA Recertification???
Physical Goals:
-Make a point to eat healthy six days a week, allowing one day to cheat
-Stop picking at little candies / chocolates throughout the day at work
-Start adding more variety to my workouts
-Research different available dance classes to take come September in the area
Financial Goals:
-Do not buy any more summer clothing/apparel
-Open up separate bank account
-Open up separate credit card for travel purposes
-Make a new budget
-Make lists prior to grocery shopping
-Carpool/Public Transport as much as possible
-Enter surveys / contests / etc. as much as possible
Relationship Goals (Friends / Family / Dan):
-Keep in touch better
-Email on a regular basis
Personal Goals:
-Have more patience
-Stop overreacting / getting easily upset
Other Goals:
-Print out pictures / start photo albums
-Scrapbooking
-Buy new black heels
-Try to exchange suit jacket
-Make more time for relaxation, perhaps pick a weekly tv show to watch
-Get more sleep
-Take a random class of some sort: cooking lesson, salsa dancing, couples kickboxing, etc?
-Try new things to do around Boston
I think this is good for right now. I am going to keep adding things as I think of them for this month, and then re-evaluate my list at the start of every month. Maybe this will help me feel like I am actually in control of my life - because sometimes I feel like it's all just one big blur and goes by way too fast.
