"M-Mr. Burch!?" James cried from the other end, trying to reach the man. "Are you doing alright!? I haven't heard from you in far to long! Are you in trouble!? Mr. Burch!"

Yeah, I'm okay. [ Not going to tell James he got hurt. That would also cause unneeded worry. ] I need you to do something for me, though. The Dakota's are hurt and they need help.

"You're okay!? That's so good to hear!" James yipped back. "The Dakotas? We'll send a group right away, but..." He paused, looking over his own situation.

"The clinic got destroyed and everything from there is in the kitchen now, there simply isn't much space... To set up another room will take time and as many people holding the area down as we can get... Burch, I hate to ask but, please, can you return here and help!?"

[ The mention of Burch possibly leaving the Yellowstone room did not please him at all. It was safe here, and while he probably needed to do something about The Pit, he'd rather just sit in Shoshone Lake and bleed until he died. That was how much he did not look forward to leave the safety and tranquility of the Yellowstone. ]

No. I'm not coming out. Come get the Dakotas and maybe Wisconsin will come help you, as much help as he is anyway. I'm out of ammo and just fuckin' tired. [ Not a lie. He sounds tired. ]
