got a blue clam last week, and it appears to be doing ok. It's filter feeds as well as photosynthesizes. Patty, the little red fish; only made the mistake of trying to perch on it once.
If I am lucky... (and as good as I hope I am)..this clam will live a long time. Once it gets too big I am going to find another home for it.
