wishin i could go back to high school....
about a month ago we got this househelp who looked like a member of the munster's squad..anyway, after 3 weeks in the job, she went on a day-off and never came back..2 days after the said day-off, i discovered one of my spare phones missing..(actually, it was my sister's phone)..since i'm not as paranoid as my dad, i didn't suspect anything at first..but after a few more minutes looking in my cabinet, i noticed that it wasn't only the phone which was missing..i couldn't find the charger either..and where was my other watch?!not only that, while i was looking through my stuff in the cabinet i also noticed that my 'doggy bank' weighed so much lighter than it should..lo and behold, when i opened it, all it had was 5 pieces of 10 peso coins..later that evening, we discovered more items missing which included items from my brother's room and some old stuff from the 'bodega'..only my sister's and my parent's room were spared probably because they always lock their rooms when they leave the house..
hmmmm....neway!!!a while ago i was looking for a lighter since i badly wanted a smoke and i went to my cabinet to check if i had one there..i do remember having a lighter in this small safety box inside my cabinet..this safe is where i keep my 'priceless treasures', and though it's not as durable and dependable as a 'sentry' or those found in banks, it is nonetheless equipped with a double locking mechanism composed of a combination and key lock system..after taking it out of my cabinet, however, i noticed that there was scotch tape wrapped all over the safe and there was this sticky substance at its edges..i removed the tape and discovered that my it has been forced open..seeeeesh!watda?!!?even the safe hindi pinalampas....
now here's the good news....(well....which i actually kinda expected already!)..nothin was missing in the safe..=) duh!i mean i don't think she would ever see the value of loose journal entries, high school fair and dance tickets,prom and grad ball invites, and other memorabilias..but for a sentimental bear like me, these are my so-called 'priceless treasures' and i wouldn't trade 'em for anything in this world..i think..=P

as i stared at the opened safe in front of me, i couldn't help but go through its contents and have a trip down memory lane....GOODNESS!!!it didn't take long before flashes of high school reminiscences came rushing through my head..DAMN,I MISS HIGH SCHOOL!!!i miss going to high school fairs..dance..soirees!!!hahahahahahaha!!!and i can't believe that i was such a 'lakwachero' back then!wala ata weekend that passed na i didn't have gmick or somethin!!!hehehehe!!!sarap ng life!!!
i miss high school....and how i wish i could turn back time and go back to high school....la lang....i don't know what the hell is wrong with me....just a couple of weeks ago, i do believe that was the week before midterms, i was having this 'nostalgic attack' on college life....and now high school?....errrrr....i don't think i'm that old.=P hehehe....oh well....neway, gtg....WAAAAAAAAAAAAH HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!=)
