Yesterday they actually voted to stop the blocage! It was amazing. The CPE is dead, the students actually made the government take it back...amazing; this would never EVER happen in the US. ...however, of course it's not over quite yet. There is still the CNE, another youth employment law that no one is happy with. Pretty much at this point the strikers don't know what to do, and they can't imagine going back to class, so they will find something to complain about, no matter what. They are cleaning up the batiment B, which was the strikeer stronghold and anti-CPE exhibition. No classes yet...they need time to prepare. It was pretty much a big party all the time. Beer, and cigarettes everywhere and music and food. It was hilarious actually. Taking over the campus and turning it into one big drunk smoking hippy party is something American students could only dream of. But now that the reality is they achieved their goal more or less, they are scared of going back to normal. I hear they will vote for the blocage again on Wednesday. We'll see, my guess is they will find something else to complain about. But this no longer concerns me. I am outta here. A bit weird that I might be living on campus when classes are happening and not going to them. However, I still didn't get what I paid for, period.
