Yesterday was another big protest all across France. I guess there was even a bit of violence, and of course the usual tear gas. One of my friends got caught up in the middle of the confrontation between police and the protestors. Villepin cannot seem "wishy-washy" on this issue or he will lose face and respect among the political world. So it seems all this is for nothing if he is not going to take away the CPE. But the only reason he can't is because of political reasons and looking like he never sticks to one opinion. Politics can be pretty BS. We'll see how it goes, I hear they are talking about at least modifying it, but would that appease the youth? My guess is no.
